This Thai street imaginary comprises the visual and auditory dimensions of power alongside changing horizontal and vertical structures of mobility…Shifting from the Old City, and then to the edge cities made possible by highways, the new hub of Siam Square became the base station for the Skytrain. This unrivaled shopping district is home to the massive global shopping mall called Central World, set aflame during the protests of May 2010, and the highest point of the city in the Baiyoke skyscraper. The shift hinted toward the way power favored those best equipped to connect technology and mobility.
